Located off of Zanzibar, a one hour drive from Stone Town and a 20 minute boat ride across the chanel  Mnemba is a private atoll surrounded by a coral reef with white sand beaches.

Selected by Conde Nast as one of the three most romantic destinations in the world, the island is inhabited only by a maximum of 20 guests and the lodge staff.  Baskets of fresh fruit, fish and lobsters are brought under sail on  traditional ngalawa outriggers to the island shore, to be prepared as exquisite and exotic delicacies.

Accommodations consist of ten cottages, hand-woven from traditional  Zanzibarian palm-matting. Hidden in the shade of Mnemba's tropical beach  forest, each banda is completely secluded.

Each room, with en-suite shower-bathroom and private verandah. The emphasis here is on elegant simplicity.
